Salsa on Six is a group directed by Jorge Luis Papiosco that began in Toronto in 2008. Papiosco played with Tata Guines, one of the most notable percussionists in Cuba and the world, with Klimax Cubanismo, Hilario Duran, Jane Bunnett and many salsa bands in Toronto. Salsa on Six comprises prestigious Cuban musicians residing in Toronto, including Roberto Riveron, Wilber Pedrozo, Jorge Betancourt, Rufino Maceiro, and Angel Luis Marquez.
