Araguacu is a professional dance company based in Toronto founded in 2013 by internationally recognized dancers and instructors Kim and Geo. With over 10 years of experience, we specialize in teaching and performing Bachata, and Mambo/Salsa On2. Our unique and impactful teaching methodology helps dancers find their fire, and develop the perfect blend of technique with flavor. Araguacu is where feeling meets technique!

Bachata Swing is not just a band; it's a melodic fusion of Toronto's finest talents from the rhythmic heartlands of the Dominican Republic, Chile, and Ecuador. Born from a collective passion for bachata and merengue, each member brings a rich tapestry of cultural influences and musical expertise to the table. United in their love for the vibrant melodies and infectious grooves of Bachata, their performances are a testament to the shared heritage that pulses through their veins.

Dailyn Martinez and Robert Brohman started Shumdesalsa in 2016 with the goal of spreading Cuban Casino (salsa) and Afro Cuban rhythms.  Born in Güines, Cuba, Dailyn graduated from the National School of Art and Variety, renowned for developing Cuban artistic talent.  Later she danced for the internationally acclaimed Havana Nights performance group.

The Imbayakunas is a band with unique world music fusion that combines traditional Andean sounds with contemporary Latin rhythms. They have become well known for their musical mix of pan flutes, guitar, violin, charango and drums with a wide repertoire of musical sounds spanning from traditional Andean San Juan’s to classics such as “Hotel California” by The Eagles.

SALSA & SABOR

Salsa & Sabor is a Colombian dance academy based in Toronto since 2019. Their mission is to promote Colombian dance styles in Canada by connecting, interacting, and inspiring people interested in learning and enjoying new Latin dance rhythms. The dance styles the academy teaches and performs are Salsa calena, salsa choke, and champeta. The academy currently offers online and in-person classes in Spanish with Latin-American instructors for all people interested in learning about Colombian culture and its expressions.

Fhanor Molina is a highly recognized Latin artist in the community and has had the opportunity to record several professional LP's and perform internationally. After years of musical training and dedication, Fhanor started his Latin orchestra known as the Latin Swing Orchestra, to carry forth a modern musical legacy of Salsa and Tropical Music.
