Salsamania Takes Over Quebec! Salsa Tremblant Returns from August 22 to 24!

(July 10, 2025) – The next stop on Canada’s hottest summer salsa tour is in the province of Quebec! The Canadian Salsa Festivals Project, in collaboration with TLN Media Group, have once again partnered with Tremblant for the second annual Salsa Tremblant. This year’s festival is bringing more rhythm, energy, and Latin flair to the heart of the Laurentian region. As part of Canada’s largest Latin-themed festival series, this vibrant event transforms the scenic mountain village into a lively celebration of music, dance, and culture.

Quebec’s premier salsa event of the summer delivers a full weekend of Latin excitement for the entire family. The Pedestrian Village of Tremblant will be transformed into a lively Latin street party, complete with high-energy music, rich cultural experiences, authentic flavours and of course, mucho dancing!

Highlights include:

Friday August 22 (8:00P – Midnight)

  • Team Salsa will captivate with their powerful “Salsa del Barrio” sound, blending Afro-descendant rhythms, vibrant trombones, mesmerizing harmonies, and energetic percussion—a reflection of the growing Montreal salsa music scene.
  • Danse Alejandro will get the crowds moving with free dance lessons for all levels, led by Carlos Alejandro Martinez.

 

Saturday August 23 (2:30P – Midnight)

  • JuntaSamba, showcasing the vibrant rhythms of Brazil with an energetic Samba performance that celebrates culture, community, and dance.
  • Lengaïa Salsa Brava, a Juno-nominated 12-piece orchestra that brings a multicultural fusion of salsa, blending influences from Cuba, Colombia, and beyond, with vibrant performances and international collaborations.
  • TIPICA BACHATA, one of Montreal’s most vibrant and renowned dance schools, brings the heart of Bachata to Tremblant with dynamic classes and performances that celebrate Latin dance and culture.
  • DJ Fibonacci, all the way from Colombia, will entertain the crowds with the vibrant rhythms of salsa and Colombian folklore, spinning infectious Latin beats.
  • Sabor 19 brings their electrifying mix of salsa and cumbia, blending diverse influences and original music that’s currently making waves in Montreal’s Latin scene.
  • DJ Lugo Mix, the Dominican sensation, will light up the Village with 20+ years of spinning bachata, salsa, and merengue, keeping the party rocking all night long.

 

Sunday August 24 (10:00A – 1:00P)

Wrap up the weekend with dance classes by SALSEÑA, bringing the fiery Salsa Caleña from Cali, Colombia.
Join the fiesta at Quebec’s largest all-season resort. It’s going to be CALIENTE!

Mont-Tremblant, jeudi le 10 juillet 2025 – La prochaine étape de la tournée estivale la plus enflammée du Canada sera au Québec! Le Canadian Salsa Festivals Project, en collaboration avec TLN Media Group, s’associe à nouveau à Tremblant pour la deuxième édition de Salsa Tremblant. Cette année, le festival promet encore plus de rythme, d’énergie et de passion latine au cœur des Laurentides. Appartenant à la plus grande série de festivals thématiques latins au Canada, cet événement haut en couleur transforme le pittoresque village piétonnier en une véritable célébration de musique, de danse et de culture.

Le plus grand événement salsa de l’été au Québec offre un week-end complet d’activités latines pour toute la famille. Le village se métamorphosera en une fête de rue effervescente, avec de la musique entraînante, des expériences culturelles riches, des saveurs authentiques… et surtout, beaucoup de danse!

  • Team Salsa envoûtera les spectateurs avec leur « Salsa del Barrio », une fusion de rythmes afrodescendants, de trombones vibrants, d’harmonies envoûtantes et de percussions énergiques — un reflet de la scène salsa montréalaise en pleine expansion.

The Award-Winning Salsa in Toronto Festival Unveils Its 2025 Season Lineup!

(Toronto, ON – June 11, 2025) The Canadian Salsa Festivals Project (CSFP) announced the 2025 lineup for Salsa in Toronto, Canada’s largest Latin-themed festival, presented by TD Bank Group. The festival launch event was a showcase of authentic flavours, music and dance, all capped off by an exclusive concert by Latin Grammy winning jazz pianist Hilario Duran at CBC’s Glenn Gould Studio.

#ComeDanceWithUs! Bigger, bolder, and now year-round with new activations across Ontario and beyond, this year’s Salsa in Toronto festivities feature an international calibre of Latin music, art showcases, Latin eats, mucho dancing, and fun for the entire familia.

Salsa Ambassador Search Reveal – Meet Jose Rosales: After a nationwide casting call to find the next face of the festival, the year-long campaign culminated in the big announcement of the new Salsa Ambassador, Jose Rosales.
Salsa Kitchener – August & September: The passion and energy of Latin dance, culture and salsa takes over downtown Kitchener with weekly fulfilled celebration for the entire family at the Kitchener Market.​
Salsa for Seniors – Now Yearlong: Free dance classes for seniors continues and now available all year long, fostering connections and active participation through Latin rhythms.

For The First Ever Salsa Tremblant

(August 19, 2024) – All aboard for Canada’s hottest summer salsa tour – next stop Tremblant, Quebec! The Canadian Salsa Festivals Project, in collaboration with TLN Media Group, has partnered with Tremblant to expand Canada’s largest Latin themed festival into ‘La Belle Province’ with the first-ever Salsa Tremblant from August 23rd to 25th.

What promises to be Quebec's ultimate Salsa event of the summer features a weekend of Latin fun for the entire family with a Latin street party transforming the Pedestrian Village of Tremblant into a showcase of Latin life with pulsating music, vibrant culture and of course, mucho dancing!

Event Highlights:

Friday:

  • International singer Ricky Franco will kick off the festivities with his full repertoire of Salsa Dura, Merengue, Cumbia, and Bachata.
  • Dance lessons will be provided by the talented San Tropez Dance School for all skill levels, from seasoned salseros to those that are simply salsa curious

Saturday: A jam-packed day with performances including:

  • YDC Productions, showcasing Latin, Brazilian, and International dance
  • DJ Drake, keeping the crowd dancing to salsa beats
  • Golden Flame Latin Dance Company, leading dance lessons for salsa lovers of all ages
  • Venezuelan artist Lu Jayan, always a crowd favorite
  • Bachata Swing, ending the evening with an electrifying musical performance

The celebratory 20th annual TD Salsa in Toronto Festival lineup is bigger and better than ever and features a jam-packed calendar of events leading up to the TD Salsa on St. Clair Street Festival on Saturday, July 6th and Sunday, July 7th, 2024. (Toronto, ON –  JULY 8, 2022) – The weather this weekend is going to be caliente with a chance of churros as the FREE 18th annual TD Salsa on St. Clair Festival returns IN-PERSON to celebrate all things Latino! St. Clair Avenue West will be closed from Winona Drive to Christie Street on Saturday, July 9, 2022, from 8am to Sunday, July 10, 2022, at 11pm.

Admission is FREE, so join salsa lovers from near and far for a jam-packed weekend of colorful performances, dance lessons, authentic Latin cuisine, children’s entertainment, and non-stop dancing!

Canada’s largest celebration of Latin culture, TD Salsa on St. Clair is happening this Saturday July 9th and Sunday July 10th on St. Clair Ave West.  And this year, Canada and beyond will have the opportunity to enjoy and take part in the festivities through the FREE LIVE STREAM online at salsaintoronto.ca

TD Salsa in Toronto is exited for the IN-PERSON return of the biggest salsa festival in the city, featuring an authentic latin food market for everyone to indulge, nearly 350 performers, over 30 dance instructors, and dance hot spots throughout the festival for non-stop dancing all weekend long!

This year’s festival lineup features artists and performers from all over Latin America bringing the heat and passion of their roots. Performers include, Puerto Rican influenced Orchestra, La Borinqueña, Venezuelan singer, Ricardo Barboza, Son D’Aqui Orchestra brining the salsa swing, Viva Mexico Mariachi with authentic rancheras, and debuting at the TD Salsa on St. Clair Festival, Montreal based, Tribu Kumbe presenting traditional dances Mapale and Cumbia from Colombia, among many more.

Special VIP guest appearances include Toronto Mayor, John Tory taking part in his annual Salsa dance lesson with host Camila Gonzalez.
