Events will be located along the Niagara River Parkway between Oakes Garden Theatre and Victoria Park Place, with the main festival hub located in Queen Victoria Park.

(September 10, 2026) – The countdown is on to Niagara’s first-ever Salsa festival! The award-winning Canadian Salsa Festivals Project Group brings its celebrated Salsa in Toronto event to Niagara for the inaugural Salsa at Niagara Falls Festival presented in partnership with Niagara Falls Tourism, Niagara Parks Commission, Fallsview Casino Resort and TLN Media Group.

Where culture meets community, Salsa transforms Niagara Falls into the ultimate Latin fiesta for all to enjoy!

Festival Highlights include:

  • A free concert by salsa icon Frankie Negrón on Sunday, September 13 at 8 P.M.
  • Two live entertainment stages featuring hundreds of performers including JUNO-nominated Andy Rubal headlining the Saturday lineup, award-winning Latin singer and entertainers Yani Borrell and Aiona Santana, to name but a few.

Renowned salsa singer Frankie Negrón returns to Canada after nearly a decade to headline the celebrations

(September 1, 2026) – The Canadian Salsa Festivals Project expands to one of Canada’s biggest tourism destinations with the inaugural Salsa at Niagara Falls on September 12–13, presented in partnership with Niagara Falls Tourism, Niagara Parks Commission, Fallsview Casino Resort and TLN Media Group.

The free festival brings Latin music, dance, food and culture to the Falls, featuring:

¡TD Salsa Tremblant Returns from August 21 to 23!

(July 28, 2026) – The next stop on Canada’s hottest summer salsa tour is in the province of Quebec! The Canadian Salsa Festivals Project, in collaboration with TLN Media Group, have once again partnered with Tremblant for TD Salsa Tremblant 2026. This year’s festival is bringing more rhythm, energy, and Latin flair to the heart of La Belle Province. As part of Canada’s largest Latin-themed festival series, this vibrant event transforms the scenic Laurentian mountain village into a lively celebration of music, dance, and culture.

Quebec’s signature salsa event of the summer delivers a full weekend of Latin excitement for the entire family. The pedestrian village of Tremblant will be transformed into a lively Latin street party, complete with high-energy music, rich cultural experiences, authentic flavours and of course, mucho dancing!

Highlights include:

Friday, August 21 (8:00 P.M. – Midnight)

  • La Tribu will kick off the weekend at Place Saint-Bernard Stage with live music and the “Salsa Tremblant Fiesta Time” celebration.
  • Tipica Bachata will get the crowds moving with a Bachata class bringing the heart of Latin dance to Tremblant.
  • The after parties keep the energy going with live music from Sabor 19, La Murga, and Arena.

Saturday, August 22 (2:30 P.M. – Midnight)

  • Arena, La Murga, Sabor 19, and Freddy Anthony will light up the festival stages with live music throughout the day and evening.
  • JuntaSamba will showcase the vibrant rhythms of Brazil with energetic Samba performances celebrating culture, community, and dance.
  • Danse Alejandro will lead free dance lessons for all levels, bringing festivalgoers into the rhythm of the weekend.
  • Tipica Bachata will return with Bachata lessons and social dancing at the Place des Voyageurs Stage.
  • Espace Yambae will bring Latin rumba workouts, Colombian salsa dance lessons, DJ sets, cumbia shows, and social dancing to the Dance Hot Spot at Scène Vieux-Village.
  • Julio Cesar will deliver live performances on the Deslauriers Stage, adding even more movement and energy to the village.
  • The after parties continue with live music from La Murga, Arena, and Freddy Anthony.

Sunday, August 23 (10:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.)

  • Wrap up the weekend with family-friendly programming, including Salsa Beats for Kids with Espace Yambae.
  • Danse Alejandro will lead a kid’s class, followed by a family class and animation to close out the weekend with dancing for all ages.

Cette année, le festival apportera encore plus de rythme, d’énergie et de saveurs latines au cœur de la Belle Province. Faisant partie de la plus importante série de festivals à thématique latine au Canada, cet événement dynamique transforme le village piétonnier de Tremblant en une célébration vibrante de la musique, de la danse et de la culture.

L’événement salsa incontournable de l’été au Québec promet une fin de semaine entièrement consacrée à la culture latine pour toute la famille. Le village piétonnier de Tremblant se transformera en une véritable fête de rue latine, où musique entraînante, expériences culturelles, saveurs authentiques et, bien sûr, beaucoup de danse seront au rendez-vous!

  • Arena, La Murga, Sabor 19 et Freddy Anthony enflammeront les scènes du festival avec des spectacles tout au long de la journée et de la soirée.
  • JuntaSamba fera découvrir les rythmes vibrants du Brésil grâce à des prestations énergiques de samba célébrant la culture, la communauté et la danse.
  • Danse Alejandro offrira des cours de danse gratuits pour tous les niveaux afin de plonger les festivaliers dans l’ambiance du week-end.
  • Tipica Bachata sera de retour avec des cours de bachata et de la danse sociale sur la scène Place des Voyageurs.

Salsamania Takes Over Quebec! Salsa Tremblant Returns from August 22 to 24!

(July 10, 2025) – The next stop on Canada’s hottest summer salsa tour is in the province of Quebec! The Canadian Salsa Festivals Project, in collaboration with TLN Media Group, have once again partnered with Tremblant for the second annual Salsa Tremblant. This year’s festival is bringing more rhythm, energy, and Latin flair to the heart of the Laurentian region. As part of Canada’s largest Latin-themed festival series, this vibrant event transforms the scenic mountain village into a lively celebration of music, dance, and culture.

Quebec’s premier salsa event of the summer delivers a full weekend of Latin excitement for the entire family. The Pedestrian Village of Tremblant will be transformed into a lively Latin street party, complete with high-energy music, rich cultural experiences, authentic flavours and of course, mucho dancing!

Highlights include:

Friday August 22 (8:00P – Midnight)

  • Team Salsa will captivate with their powerful “Salsa del Barrio” sound, blending Afro-descendant rhythms, vibrant trombones, mesmerizing harmonies, and energetic percussion—a reflection of the growing Montreal salsa music scene.
  • Danse Alejandro will get the crowds moving with free dance lessons for all levels, led by Carlos Alejandro Martinez.

 

Saturday August 23 (2:30P – Midnight)

  • JuntaSamba, showcasing the vibrant rhythms of Brazil with an energetic Samba performance that celebrates culture, community, and dance.
  • Lengaïa Salsa Brava, a Juno-nominated 12-piece orchestra that brings a multicultural fusion of salsa, blending influences from Cuba, Colombia, and beyond, with vibrant performances and international collaborations.
  • TIPICA BACHATA, one of Montreal’s most vibrant and renowned dance schools, brings the heart of Bachata to Tremblant with dynamic classes and performances that celebrate Latin dance and culture.
  • DJ Fibonacci, all the way from Colombia, will entertain the crowds with the vibrant rhythms of salsa and Colombian folklore, spinning infectious Latin beats.
  • Sabor 19 brings their electrifying mix of salsa and cumbia, blending diverse influences and original music that’s currently making waves in Montreal’s Latin scene.
  • DJ Lugo Mix, the Dominican sensation, will light up the Village with 20+ years of spinning bachata, salsa, and merengue, keeping the party rocking all night long.

Wrap up the weekend with dance classes by SALSEÑA, bringing the fiery Salsa Caleña from Cali, Colombia.

Cette année, le festival promet encore plus de rythme, d’énergie et de passion latine au cœur des Laurentides. Appartenant à la plus grande série de festivals thématiques latins au Canada, cet événement haut en couleur transforme le pittoresque village piétonnier en une véritable célébration de musique, de danse et de culture.

Le plus grand événement salsa de l’été au Québec offre un week-end complet d’activités latines pour toute la famille. The Award-Winning Salsa in Toronto Festival Unveils Its 2025 Season Lineup!

(Toronto, ON – June 11, 2025) The Canadian Salsa Festivals Project (CSFP) announced the 2025 lineup for Salsa in Toronto, Canada’s largest Latin-themed festival, presented by TD Bank Group. The festival launch event was a showcase of authentic flavours, music and dance, all capped off by an exclusive concert by Latin Grammy winning jazz pianist Hilario Duran at CBC’s Glenn Gould Studio.

#ComeDanceWithUs! Bigger, bolder, and now year-round with new activations across Ontario and beyond, this year’s Salsa in Toronto festivities feature an international calibre of Latin music, art showcases, Latin eats, mucho dancing, and fun for the entire familia.

New Additions to the Festival Lineup:

Salsa Ambassador Search Reveal – Meet Jose Rosales: After a nationwide casting call to find the next face of the festival, the year-long campaign culminated in the big announcement of the new Salsa Ambassador, Jose Rosales.
Salsa Kitchener – August & September: The passion and energy of Latin dance, culture and salsa takes over downtown Kitchener with weekly fulfilled celebration for the entire family at the Kitchener Market.​
Salsa for Seniors – Now Yearlong: Free dance classes for seniors continues and now available all year long, fostering connections and active participation through Latin rhythms.
Salsa for Kids – New: Introducing Salsa for Kids—a vibrant new addition to the Salsa in Toronto Festival, offering year-round fun and rhythm for the next generation of dancers!

The heart of the party – the FREE Salsa on St. Clair Street Festival returns July 5 & 6, transforming midtown Toronto’s Hillcrest Village (stretching from Winona Dr. to Christie St.) into Canada’s hottest Latin celebration of the year. From churros to paella to empanadas, the street festival features the best in authentic Latin flavours with over 35 local food vendors for attendees to indulge in favourites from more than 15 Hispanic countries across the globe. Enjoy LIVE performances from 350+ artists showcased in the Jackpot City Festival lineup including weekend headliners and crowd-favourites Luis Franco, Marta Elena, La Borinqueña and more. The Canadian Salsa Festival’s Project Partners With Tremblant

For The First Ever Salsa Tremblant

August 23 to 25

(August 19, 2024) – All aboard for Canada’s hottest summer salsa tour – next stop Tremblant, Quebec! The Canadian Salsa Festivals Project, in collaboration with TLN Media Group, has partnered with Tremblant to expand Canada’s largest Latin themed festival into ‘La Belle Province’ with the first-ever Salsa Tremblant from August 23rd to 25th.

What promises to be Quebec's ultimate Salsa event of the summer features a weekend of Latin fun for the entire family with a Latin street party transforming the Pedestrian Village of Tremblant into a showcase of Latin life with pulsating music, vibrant culture and of course, mucho dancing!

Event Highlights:

Friday:

  • International singer Ricky Franco will kick off the festivities with his full repertoire of Salsa Dura, Merengue, Cumbia, and Bachata.
  • Dance lessons will be provided by the talented San Tropez Dance School for all skill levels, from seasoned salseros to those that are simply salsa curious

Saturday: A jam-packed day with performances including:

  • YDC Productions, showcasing Latin, Brazilian, and International dance
  • DJ Drake, keeping the crowd dancing to salsa beats
  • Golden Flame Latin Dance Company, leading dance lessons for salsa lovers of all ages
  • Venezuelan artist Lu Jayan, always a crowd favorite
  • Bachata Swing, ending the evening with an electrifying musical performance
