2024 Milestone Lineup Unveiled and Countdown to the

Highly Anticipated FREE TD Salsa at St. Clair Street Festival is on!

The Canadian Salsa Festivals Project (CSFP) has unveiled the lineup for the 20th anniversary of Canada’s largest Latin-themed festival at its VIP Launch Party. The Award-winning TD Salsa in Toronto Festival, transported guests to a tropical paradise at the Sheraton Hotel Waterfall Garden for an evening of authentic flavours, music, dance, and celebration where festival ambassador Camila Gonzalez announced exciting 2024 highlights.




The celebratory 20th annual TD Salsa in Toronto Festival lineup is bigger and better than ever and features a jam-packed calendar of events leading up to the TD Salsa on St. Clair Street Festival on Saturday, July 6th and Sunday, July 7th, 2024. The festivities transform the city into the ultimate summer Latin fiesta featuring an international calibre of Latin music, art showcases, Latin eats, mucho dancing, and fun for the entire familia. 

New Additions to Celebrate 20 Years of TD Salsa in Toronto:

  • Salsa Tremblant: Salsa is expanding into Quebec with its new affiliate event in Mont Tremblant from August 23-25, bringing the Latin culture to Pedestrian village.
  • Salsa on Market Street: Three Sundays of Salsa dancing in the heart of Toronto’s Old Town (June 18, July 28, August 18) bringing the Latin flair to the historic St. Lawrence neighbourhood.
  • Salsa Ambassador Search: A nationwide casting call to find the next face of the festival, in collaboration with media partners TLN TV and Univision Canada. The year-long campaign will culminate in the announcement of the new Ambassador for the 2025 festival. Returning Festival Favourites Include:

  • Vibrante Art Exhibition: Featuring local Latino artwork at the Little EGG Gallery featuring local artwork created by up-and-coming Latino artists ages 0-18.
  • Free Dance Lessons: Expanded to more locations across Southern Ontario.
  • TD Salsa at Blue Mountain: Collingwood heats up from June 21-23.
  • Salsa Afterparties: July 6 and 7 at the El Mocambo, one of Canada's most iconic music venues.
  • Salsa for Seniors: Dance lessons for Salsa lovers of all ages at Sorrento Retirement Residence and Toronto’s Columbus Centre.
  • TD Welcome to Canada Literacy Program: A series of pop-up events throughout the summer including at TD Salsa at Blue Mountain and TD Salsa on St. Clair.
  • TD Salsa on St. Clair: The crown jewel of the festival, the 20th edition of the highly anticipated TD Salsa on St. Clair Street Festival on the weekend of July 6th and 7th.

Stretching from Winona Dr. to Christie St., the TD Salsa on St. Clair Street Festival takes over Hillcrest Village in the heart of mid-town Toronto and transforms the city into the hottest multicultural celebration of the year. From Churros to Paella, the street festival features the best in authentic Latin flavours with over 35 local food vendors for attendees to indulge in the hottest dishes from more than 15 Hispanic countries across the globe. Enjoy LIVE performances from 350+ performers showcased in the Jackpot City Festival Lineup including weekend headliners and crowd-favourites Carlinhos Salgueiro, Leonardo Garcia & Son Horizonte, Max Rosado, and more.

Take in the colourful folkloric performances during the Fiesta Parade Presented By Mucho Burrito. And with over 25 dance instructors across the festival footprint, it’s no wonder hundreds of thousands of locals and visitors alike attend the festival year after year for the country’s biggest street dance party.
