July 6th & Sun. July 7th.
The TD Salsa in Toronto Festival lineup features events throughout the city celebrating Latino art and culture through authentic dance, cuisine and music. The Maraca & Mango Latin art exhibition at the Toronto Metro Hall Rotunda will showcase work from a series of local Hispanic artists, and there will be salsa parties and FREE dance classes across the GTA, all in preparation for the FREE TD Salsa on St. Clair Street Festival Weekend!
The TD Salsa on St. Clair Street Festival is celebrating its 15th edition with its biggest lineup yet of savory Latin food, sizzling entertainment and non-stop dancing all weekend long. As Canada’s favourite Latino-themed street dance party, the TD Salsa on St. Clair Street Festival returns with a stellar lineup of over 250 Canadian and international music/dance artists featuring new and returning crowd favourites. Performers include Toronto’s own Cuban-quartet Guaracha Y Son, high-energy Latin-fusion band Waraibo and “the bad boys of Salsa” Salseros with Attitude. Local artists new to the lineup include Canada’s first Brazilian Choro ensemble Tio Chorinho, singer Marta Elena, urban Latin group Santerias, Lengaïa Salsa Brava’s orchestra and Los Anormales from Montreal.

TD Salsa en St. Clair es la fiesta latina más grande de Canadá, que por 14 años consecutivos lleva a los escenarios lo mejor de la cultura latinoamericana al presentar: artistas canadienses e internacionales, bandas de música tradicional, y bailes folklóricos.
La alineación internacional cuenta con Los Habaneros, máxima banda de música cubana en Nueva York, y directo desde Panamá el aclamado acordeonista y Embajador Cultural Osvaldo Ayala. La multipremiada orquesta contemporánea Yordan Martinez & The Cuban Martinez Show se une al festival desde Montreal. El talento local recibe las adiciones de Waraibo, banda que fusiona diferentes ritmos latinos, la tradicional banda colombiana Chirima Baru, y Orquesta Fantasa, con su mezcla única de salsa, merengue, y cumbia.
Te invitamos a que bailes con nosotros y te unas a esta celebración latina que además contará con clases de baile GRATIS para principiantes.
En esta edición, la conducción del festival estará a cargo del colombo-libanés Ivan Ruiz quien ha bailado con nosotros en las dos últimas décadas enseñando salsa a miles de personas. Iván estará acompañado por la colombo-canadiense Camila González quien concursa para Miss Universe Canada 2018 y forma parte de los presentadores de TLN.
