Marc Knight, founder of Team Salsa, brings the sound and swing found in the essence of the salsa movement. An avid follower of Salsa and Cuban music its repertoire extends to more than just salsa. The musicians of TEAM SALSA have accompanied many artists of the salsa genre and now are getting together to maintain the original essence of SALSA in the local Montreal music scene. TEAM SALSA is a band formed by musicians from different countries that wish to express the rich essence of the afro-descendant rhythms of ”Salsa del Barrio” (Salsa From The Neighborhood) with the power of the trombones, the mesmerizing harmonies and the energy of the percussion.
